We’ll set you up with the best bike to suit your exploration and provide you with local tips on the essential things to see and do in DTLA. The best way to experience DTLA is by bike! Choose from 2 hour, half day, or full day bike rentals and hit the boulevard!

Comfort Bike
$20 for 2 hours

Momentum bikes provide a comfortable cruiser style ride with the added benefit of seven gears, front and rear hand brakes, and a convenient cup holder. Comfort bikes come in two sizes to fit riders from 5’4″ to 6’3″ in height (160cm to 190cm)


City Bike
$20 for 2 hours
$25 for half day
$30 for full day

These bikes are great for exploring the city. It’s a light, fun, comfortable companion mile after mile. Choose from three frame sizes to fit riders from 5’0″ to 6’4″ in height (152cm to 193cm).


Electric Assist
$35 for 2 hours
$45 for half day
$55 for full day

The e-Katu by Orbea is uniquely universal. One size fits most. With electric assist, it will give you just the right amount of extra push you need, depending on your own pedaling power.


Urban Arrow
$45 for 2 hours
$65 for half day
$80 for full day

The ultimate family bicycle. Electric cargo bike can fit up to two small kids (or one adult) and beach gear in the front.


Urban Arrow Shorty
$55 for two hours
$75 for half day
$95 for full day

The short wheel base handles much like a regular bike with the added benefit of up to 187 pounds carrying capacity in the cargo space. The Bosch Performance electric assist drive makes it easy to haul your gear without any difficulty.


Urban Arrow Cargo L
$75 for two hours
$100 for half day
$125 for full day

The Cargo L is perfect for distribution of goods within a city core. The Bosch CX electric assist provides quick acceleration and easy handling, the Flightcase box maintains enough load capacity to haul some serious volume.


GOOD TO KNOW

• No time restrictions — decide as you go! Pay a deposit for your bike rental and keep the bike as long as you want — a few hours, all day, or until tomorrow — paying in full upon your return to The Bike Center.
• Deposit required: passport or credit card
• 2 hour minimum charge on all rentals
• Full day rentals are due back same day by closing time, multi-day rentals are available for additional fees
• Participants must be 18 years old to rent or have a parent/guardian sign for you at time of rental
• Participants must sign a release contract to rent; ride at your own risk
• Manufacturer’s weight limit applies to all equipment
• Optional Damage and Theft Waiver: $3 per bike per day (covers 100% of damages; 50% of replacement costs in the event of theft; police report required).

Saturday & Sunday 10am-6pm


Pick-up:

At Los Angeles Union Station. Walk-up or reserve your bike in advance!


Group size:

Difficulty:

Downtown Los Angeles is fairly flat, so the difficulty of your excursion depends on how far you’d like to explore! Riding a bike in DTLA involves riding on city streets alongside traffic, sometimes in bike lanes. Confidence in your bike riding abilities is key!

Participation requirements:

Participants must be 18 years old to rent or come with a parent or guardian to sign for them at time of rental. Participants must sign a release contract to rent; ride at your own risk. Manufacturer’s weight limit applies to all equipment. Riders age 16 and under are required by CA state law to wear a helmet.


Optional damage & theft waiver:

$3 per bike per day (covers 100% of damages; 50% of replacement costs in the event of theft; police report required).
